Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Markora Mart collects, why we need it and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to run the store, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password (we can't see your password).
- Your orders: delivery addresses, the items you ordered, prices and order status, and any note you add for delivery.
- Your wishlist, if you save products to it.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Clicks on Amazon links: which product was clicked, from which page, the type of device, the referring page and your country. We don't store your IP address with these, and they aren't linked to your account.
- Security data: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in, sign-up, order and contact attempts, and is deleted within about a day.
Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders.
- To run your account and send account emails (confirming your email, resetting your password).
- To answer your questions.
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse.
- To understand which products are popular and improve the store.
We don't send marketing emails, and we don't sell or rent your information.
Cookies and storage
- A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in.
- A region cookie remembers which store you chose.
- A “welcomed” cookie remembers that you've seen the first-visit message, so it doesn't show again.
- Your browser stores your cart and your light/dark theme choice on your device.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on our own site.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the store, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel (website hosting) and Neon (database), which store the site's data.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- Cloudflare R2, which hosts product images.
- Delivery partners, who get your name, phone and address to deliver your order.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
When you click a “Buy on Amazon” button you leave our site. Amazon then collects information under its own privacy notice, and may use cookies to credit us with the referral.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while you have an account. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and legal reasons. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer them. Security data is deleted within about a day.
Your choices
- See and update your details in your account at any time.
- Delete your account from your profile page. Past orders are kept for our records, without your account.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, through our contact page.
Keeping it safe
The site uses HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and only the store owner can see orders and customer details.
